Will planning
Did you know that parents can easily issue passports to their children and family ?
Not an official passport to other countries….but a document to try to insure the good and welfare for their family members when a parent ceases to be available to protect them ?
IT IS CALLED A WILL.! In essence a passport to the continued good life they may now be living, that would be accepted by the Courts.
Wouldn’t any parent prefer to draft a legal document for a better life for their family , rather leave everything to chance that might bring doom and gloom ?

WILLS ARE THE WEAPONS FOR ENSURING DESCENDANTS RECEIVE THEIR FAIR SHARE OF A FAMILY”S ASSETS !!
Will planning is the excercise to develope a comprehensive list of your assets, and to determine those you wish to bestow your belongings to. Nothing difficult about that. !
But because too many people neglect to draft Wills, it can and does lead to much confusion, and put an undue strain on the surviving spouse and family members.
To confront any head of household and say “Would you want your loved ones to suffer any anguish after an unexpected termination of your life ? ”
There is no doubt, the answer would be a direct NO.!
Why is it then that 80% of the world population as yet do not have a WILL. ?
What is it going to take to change that to read, that 8o% of the world, NOW HAVE A WILL.?

I WANT IT TO BE GAIN – NOT SORROW, GOOD – NOT EVIL, SUCCESS – NOT FAILURE IN ORDER THAT I SHALL NOT REGRET THE PRICE I HAVE PAID FOR IT !

I HAVE ADMITTED TO MY FAMILY THAT AS PARENTS WE HAVE BEEN NEGLIGENT IN DELAYING THIS MUCH NEEDED DOCUMENT PROPERLY DRAFTED FOR THEIR FUTURE’S.

If Mother’s Of The World don’t arrange to get the Family Will drafted, ….it won’t get done . Quite often.
With married couples quite often, the Family Will was a simple version where the Will simply states that the property and possession’s will be left to the surviving spouse. If children are involved, then the usual Family Will states that on the passing of the remaining spouse, the property and possessions are to be divided up between the family members.
While that is all encompassing , Wills today take on a far more detailed look and many clauses in the Will are more specific and detailed. Maybe an invalid spouse or child requiring special needs etc. ?
A legal professional will be of immense help as you contemplate drafting a Health Care Proxy and Family Will.
Remember, this is not a dooms day venture. Make this an excellent HOBBY venture to enjoy planning with your family members as you take inventory of accumalated possessios to date and discuss who is planned to get what.
Then, there are two important things to finalize.
1….Contact a Worlds Wills Locations Registry and register the location of where the Family Will is going to be kept so it can be easily found, because a Will that cannot be found, is of absolutely no use!
2….Make it a definet plan to update your Will every two years, because things can change rapidly in that time.

A LIVING WILL, and a FAMILY WILL.
It is very unlikely that you would want complete strangers deciding what to do with your assets after death.
But without a Living Will and a Family Will, the law in your jurisdiction and the probate court will make those final decisions instead, leaving your wife and family in a deplorable position until the probate process is completed. This can sometimes be as long as 2 to 3 yrs after the death.
Without any type of written directions for the family to follow, the transition into their future is in too much turmoil waiting for solutions from the courts.
We really know of no human who would want to put anyone through this anxiety deliberately, and yet so many do by default.
The legal professionals in the worlds complain that failure to complete a legal will and estate plan, is one of mankinds greatest faults.
For years they have urged, cajoled and promoted individuals to complete these two urgent tasks without too much success as more than 80% of the world’s population still do not have estate plans and wills completed.

She went on to relate that her sister’s 29 yr old husband had just been killed in a horrific truck accident the week before. He had a wife and two young children, had just bought a new home and furniture. But the family had no Will. An older brother was assisting the sister and family in trying to sort out affairs, but hurriedly advised this sister to immediately get to a lawyer to get a Will prepraed.
This corner advised her to contact a financial planner or a notary or a lawyer to get their quick free consultation for direction, and also check on-line with her computer for Wills, Will Planning, or World Will Registries, who also help direct people to get other information.
We also advised this 32 yr old with three young children to try to arrange the first meeting in their own home, because she said her husband did not believe he needed a Will as yet as a 34 yr old.
No one should believe this to be an isolated case.
Unfortunately, this scene happens all too frequently.
