.which  causes  us  to  ask  ourselves  “   ARE  WE  REALLY  PREPARED  FOR  THE  UNEXPECTED?”

SOMEBODY  IS  RESPONSIBLE  TO  INSURE  THAT  FAMILIES  HAVE  A  WRITTEN  WILL  IN  PLACE  !

As  a  two  month  vacationer  in  Honolulu,  Hawaii,  this  blog  writer  was  awakened  at  6 am  today   by  the  country’s  Civil  Defence  Alert  Alarm  Sirens  alerting  Island  residents  of  the  on-coming  Tsunami.    TV  and  Radio  have  been  issueing  guidance  and  directions  repeatedly  asking  people  to  follow  the  instructions  as  given.

The  TSUNAMI  caused  by  the  massive  8.5  earthquake  in  Chile,  South  America   is  due  to  hit  Oahu  and  Waikiki  area  about  11:00  am.  The  Defence  Alert  people  are  suggesting  only  people  along  shorelines  and  low  lying  areas  should  be  seeking  to  re-locate  to  higher  ground  during  this  alert.  

With  our  550  room  resort   filled  with  Japanese  tourists,  there  is  naturaly  a  high  level  of  anxiety.

Initial  reports  already  revealed  more  than  130  deaths  have  occurred  at  the  earthquake  site  with  many  more  expected,  along  with  injuries  in  the  thousands.     

This  disaster  is  one  of  those  unexpected,  or  out- of- the – blue  happenings  that  often  claim  the  lives  of  many,  and  many, ( if  not  all )  were  totally  unprepared  with  their  families. 

This  blog  constantly  reminds  people  to  prepare  written  instructions  as  to  what  to  do  with  their  property,  possessions  and  family  by  way  of  a  written  WILL  or  LIVING  WILL,  so  that  families  are  protected.   The  courts  almost  always  honor  your  written  instructions  you  leave  for  your  families.

Our  thoughts  and  prayers  go  out  to  all  so  severly  affected.
